XHORSE - XSBZ01EN - Smart Key - Proximity for Mercedes Benz IR FBS3 Systems PCB 315/433 MHz

This PCB works as a replacement for Mercedes IR Proximity Keys in E Class, C Class, S Class, ML Series, and GL Series with the EIS Modules listed below from 2009 to 2015 as long as they are FSB3 Systems and do not have the Push To Start Button on the vehicle's Shift Lever. If the vehicle you are working with has the Push To Start Button on the Shift Lever, there is not currently a replacement Key available for these vehicles.

Features

- This PCB Supports Manual Starting, Keyless Entry, and PTS (Push To Start) Functions.
- The PCB works with FBS3 Systems using these EIS Modules: W204, W207, W212, W164, W166, W221.
- 315 Mhz and 433 MHz Frequency Compatibility (Set In VVDI MB Software Or By Component Change) .
- A working battery is not required for IR Key Information writing.

By default, the remote transmits at 433 MHz. If you need to change it to 315 Mhz, here is how you can do it:

1. If you have VVDI MB tool, you can easily do it using VVDI MB software, just make sure it's updated to the latest version. Go to Read/Write Key, navigate to Other Function in the software interface, and select Set Key Remote Frequency in the dropdown.
2. If you don't have VVDI MB, you can manually change the frequency by soldering/desoldering the FRE resistor on the PCB. With FRE Resistor installed, the Remote will transmit at 433 MHz, and with the FRE Resistor removed the Remote will transmit at 315 MHz.
