In general there is no onboard programming procedure for newer replacement remote keys. Key fobs must be programmed by a professional locksmith. Please contact an automotive locksmith to get an accurate quote so they can program this key fob once you receive it.

Smart Key Fob for Cadillac Escalade 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 6B FCC# HYQ2AB 
Recently purchased a 2015 Escalade and only got 1 fob with it. Checked with my local locksmith and they wanted $225 per fob for the fob, emergency key cut and program. Was able to get 2 replacement fobs here for $43 total after shipping. Was able to find a video that showed how to program them and programmed them myself for free with no special equipment in less than 15 minutes and they’ve been working great. Took the backup keys to my local locksmith and got them cut to match my original key for a few bucks each. Highly recommend as this saved me $400.
