Detex - VRA-143B - Vertical Rod Assembly used with ECL230D Exit Control Lock - 84"
A Vertical Rod Assembly (VRA) is used with a Detex Exit Control Lock (ECL-230D) to provide exit control security on outswinging double doors. In addition it may be used on a single door installation to provide top and bottom latching instead of the single point latching provided by the Exit Control Lock itself.

Customer Service call computer hung up on me multiple times and I was never able to talk to anyone ever. They claimed after holding for them for 10-15 minutes each time that they were having a technical difficulty and I should try the call later. Each time I tried, same story. This was well within their normal business hours. This kind of customer service is totally unacceptable.
