We've all been through that terrible feeling: you lost your keys, you locked them inside your car or they just stopped working... It is frustrating and the solutions to replace them seem extremely expensive. Do not worry. We are here for you at Locksmith Keyless with our knowledge and experience and we offer this variety of options depending on what you want to spend.
Keyless Remotes
When choosing what car key fob or replacement key you need, you have to think of how you want to access your vehicle with your key (with a physical approach or wireless contact). Our goal is to keep you and your vehicle safe with every option we have for you at our location and website:
- Standard Remotes: Classical. You have probably used one of these in the past. The remote is separated from the key and comes with a lock, unlock and panic button, also with a trunk. Their cost is up to 50 dollars.
- Flip Keys: Movement comes along with that "flip" that refers to the key opening like a blade knife. The key and the remote are in the same unit and they cost between 90 and 120 dollars.
- Fobiks: They use infrared technology, but the actual key (metal) is also inside the remote. Their average price is 120 dollars.
- Remote Head Keys: One unit combining key and remote. The main difference with fobiks is you can actually see the part of the key, which is attached to the remote. They cost up to 100 dollars.
- Smart Remotes: They are "smart keys" because their technology detects when the driver gets close to the vehicle even when the remote stays in his pocket. They contain a little metal key in case this technology stops working, for security reasons. They are the most expensive ones, their price is up to 200 dollars. They are mainly used in cars that use the push start button.
Key Fob Programming
It is necessary for the owner of the vehicle to program the keyless entry remote before using it, and that is something we can help you with valuable information at our website Locksmith Keyless.
You can find a local locksmith easily at our "Find a Locksmith" page. Your local locksmith or dealership can help you programming your Key Fob to your car.
Also, keep in mind that some remote key fobs can program by themselves. You can find free Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions at our "Program Your Remote" page. Choose the make, model and year of your car to find the programming Instructions.
