The consumer-friendly, self-contained product includes a universal key and an EZ Installer™, allowing customers to complete their own pairing of the key to their vehicle. Once cut, consumers plug the EZ Installer™ into their vehicle’s standard diagnostic port to pair the key to the vehicle in just a few minutes—no tools required. The EZ Installer™ service is easy to use.

This universal key controls the remote keyless entry systems for a variety of Ford, and Lincoln models. At the touch of a button, the key performs the same functions as the vehicle's original equipment, such as locking and unlocking doors, and panic.

In general there is no onboard programming procedure for newer replacement remote keys. Key fobs must be programmed by a professional locksmith. Please contact your local dealership or an automotive locksmith to get an accurate quote so they can program this key fob once you receive it.
